THE CUSTOM HOUSE Terms and Conditions of Play
Clothing
Socks must be worn at all times.
Long sleeved tops and trousers should be worn.
Jewellery, badges and other sharp edges must be removed.
Children who are toilet training should wear adequate protection.
Valuables
Lockers are available for hire at PlayZone reception.
No liability will be accepted for any losses, damage or theft.
Behaviour
Children are expected to behave in an appropriate manner respecting the safety and enjoyment of all other children.
Parents and guardians are responsible for their children at all times.
Pricing
PlayZone reserve the right to make changes to prices without notification.
Timing
A session lasts a minimum of 1.5 hours, during busy periods you may be asked to leave the play area after this time.
Exclusive Use
Please note that unless you have booked exclusive PlayZone hire, you will be playing with other members of the public.
Safety
Whilst we have attempted to make this play facility as safe as possible, the very nature of children’s play activity means that accidents occasionally happen. We cannot therefore accept any responsibility for injury or damage to children or clothing whilst using this play area. Parental supervision is essential.
The Safety of children within PlayZone is of paramount importance to us so please be aware of the following points:
Close gates on entering and leaving PlayZone
No glass items to be brought into PlayZone
The Custom House and PlayZone operate a no smoking policy
No alcohol or anyone under the influence of alcohol is allowed into PlayZone
Chewing gum is not permitted
Children who wear glasses or contact lenses should take particular care
Children who are unwell must not use the play equipment

We maintain an up to date risk analysis for all our facilities and an extract relevant to PlayZone and LazerZone can be downloaded here: risk assessment.
Schools, nurseries and other groups often find this helpful in making their own assessments of the safety and suitability of our facilioties for their group. If you have any queries or special needs please contact the Leisure Manager for assistance.
